Warranty

Warranty

Quite often, even after we’ve chosen an item and purchased it successfully, there may be some things we might want to change or repair afterward — either during or following the delivery process, when filing a return, or applying to use our warranty. Here we'll explain in simple terms how Vi Vadow’s warranty policy works and how you can use it when shopping with us.

What products are provided with the Warranty?

All products sold by Vi Vadow are eligible for a manufacturer warranty that guarantees the quality of the product for a specified period. We are confident in the quality of our products and therefore provide warranties for a reasonable period of time after purchase, based on the faulty product.

Please note: These warranties apply only to items bought via our website and not via third-party platforms. All products come with a 25-year warranty for bordium wood and a 5-year warranty for chipboard (melamine). Items with special finishes, such as chrome, come with a 2-year warranty.

In what cases is the Warranty not provided?

There are limits to the warranties issued with the purchase of Vi Vadow products. The manufacturer of the Goods guarantees some of its products for a period of 25 years (bordium wood) or 5 years (chipboard/melamine), with conditions and exclusions set out as follows:

We recommend inspecting your product for any obvious and physical defects within 14 days of the date of purchase and, in any case, before installation. This helps minimize the cost of replacing faulty products. Vi Vadow will only be responsible for the refund, repair, or replacement — not for any installation, plumbing, loss of business, or incidental costs. The warranty covers manufacturer defects, meaning an item was defective upon arrival, and not due to improper use.

What’s not included?

The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Breakage or damage to glass or its coating (unless the defect is present at the time of purchase). However, Vi Vadow uses only toughened safety glass that complies with EN 12150-1 and EN 14428 standards.
  • Showering items, including valves, hand sprays, fixed heads, body jets, and drenchers.
  • Damage caused by willful damage, neglect, misuse, accidental breakage, and normal wear and tear.
  • Failure to use the Goods in accordance with their instructions (where applicable).
  • Any alteration or repair of the Goods by the buyer or any unauthorized third party.

Various factors can affect the performance and life expectancy of our products and are excluded from the provisions of the lifetime warranty.
